Interested in brushing up your gardening skills? Joe Belsan, who sells plants at our Oakton market, is teaching a gardening class this month in Fairfax City. He will cover composting, in-ground and container planting, seed germination, companion planting, maintenance and pest control. The class is designed for both adults and children.
Joe’s class will be Jan. 16, 23 and 30 from 9:30–11:30am at the Green Acres Center, 4401 Sideburn Rd. in Fairfax City. The cost is $10 per person and $15 per family.
